ABOUT PARTICIpating WinEmakerS
The mission of the Rising Tide Wine Fest is to buoy up rising wine producers here in Oregon’s Willamette Valley making headway in the world of Oregon wine. You’ll like the cut of their jib!

RICOCHET
Ricochet wines are crafted with a natural-wine inclination, without dogma. Winemaker Erich Berg strives to be hands off while producing sophisticated and clean wines that reflect the Willamette Valley and the Pacific Northwest. Focused on sustainably-farmed fruit; low sulfur; wild-yeast fermentation; and the avoidance of synthetic additives. Because of this, Ricochet’s wines offer the inherent tension of each varietal. Ricochet also is driven to be a community-oriented brand, donating 5% of annual profits to local and regional non-profits that help our neighbors-in-need “bound back,” or, ricochet.

HUMAN CELLARS
Human, Vine, Nature. Bryan and Emily created Human Cellars after more than 20 years of wandering the earth, inspired by humans who have made the world a better place in their own small way. The philosophy of Human Cellars is simple- farm it following the rhythms of nature without the use of chemicals; keep it pure in the winery without fining, filtering or additions (save for a bit of sulfur); and be an active part of the community where you live.

SATYR FIRE
Satyr Fire is crafted for the curious drinker who seeks complex, elegant wines; they are for the adventurer who’s always eager to embark on a journey; they are for the storyteller who wishes to blur the line between reality and myth. Every wine, born from wild fermentation, tells a small portion of their story. Each bottle is a sentence, each barrel is a paragraph, and each vintage is a chapter of the unfolding tale.

COMPRIS VINEYARD
Compris Vineyard is built on connection—between land, wine, and people. Owners Dru and Erin Allen craft estate-grown wines in the Chehalem Mountains, drawing inspiration from music, storytelling, and the unique terroir of the Willamette Valley. Each bottle reflects their thoughtful, small-lot approach and deep appreciation for this place they call home. Expressive, inviting, and made to bring people together—just like the people behind them.

APPROACHMENT WINES
We’re Jessica and Paden West, a winemaking couple that has over 20 years combined experience in the Oregon wine industry.
We’ve been crafting top-tier Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for ages, but let’s face it—sometimes you’ve gotta shake things up. So, we’re adding a touch of “fun” to our serious winemaker vibes.
Approachment is our excuse to unleash our creative and experimental side together as winemakers but also as partners and best friends. We are excited to make energetic, creative, thought provoking, and approachable wines in limited production.

LAGNIAPPE WINES
Lagniappe Wines (pronounced LAN-yap) takes its name from a Cajun French expression meaning “a little something extra.” Founded in 2020, Lagniappe is a celebration of nuance, with Lisette Hrapmann’s focus on the subtle intricacies that make each variety, vineyard, and vintage distinct.
Lisette began her winemaking career in Sonoma County, California. She later worked vintages in Burgundy and Chile, where she deepened her appreciation for the rich history and culture embedded in the world’s wine regions. She ultimately found her home in Oregon, drawn by the camaraderie and deep-rooted pioneer spirit of the Willamette Valley.

AUGUSTINA CELLARS
A dream duo – Augustina Cellars is the brain child of Diana Schultz and Lee McCollins cultivated over decades. The journey began at a summer church camp in the 90s when Diana and Lee became quick besties.
Lee watched Diana exploring her curiosity of winemaking and encouraged her to share what she made with the world. Lee has always had an entrepreneur energy, an eye for business and natural design talent. Lee used his plethora of skills to help Diana create a brand, launch the website and get the paperwork started so this passion project could become a business.
As you explore the wines of Augustina Cellars, you’re not just savoring the fruits of a vineyard; you’re experiencing the culmination of a friendship that has weathered the years and grown richer with time. Join us on this adventure with Camp Augustina, where every bottle tells a story of enduring friendship, shared joy, and the pursuit of dreams.

DAVID PAIGE WINES
Dave Paige has been part of the west coast wine industry for over 30 years. He began his career in California before heading north to Oregon and settling at famed Adelsheim Vineyards in the Willamette Valley, where he spent nearly two decades as Winemaker. There he honed the skills to craft the distinctive Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that are the valley’s hallmark. In 2018, Dave decided he wanted to try his hand at creating his own label, and began looking around the Willamette Valley for vineyard property he could take on to create his own winery. Separately, two friends in Indiana—one with roots in Oregon— were discussing creating a winery of their own. Staying true to what drew them all here, their aim is to create great wines from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that have classic character and highlight the terroir from which they are grown. They reinforce the status of Oregon wine country as one of the top areas on the planet for growing cool climate varieties.

MENDIVIA WINES
Mendivia was started by Colin and Holly Howard to celebrate our favorite Spanish cultivars from some of Oregon and Washington’s emerging AVAs. Mendivia (Men-dée-via) Wines is rooted in a love of Spanish culture, combined with mindful winemaking and appreciation of the state’s unique vineyards. Inspired by winemaker Colin Howard’s Basque lineage (his family name was originally Mendivia), the label brings together unique Spanish grape varieties with serious craftsmanship. Grapes, such as Tempranillo and Albariño, are sourced from the PNW’s warmer regions whose climates and topography are similar to those of north/ northwest Spain. The wines are compelling and energetic with the goal to always be adding something delicious and dynamic to the table. Colin brings a diverse background to his winemaking which also includes years in distilling and hospitality management, both of which inform his approach to making vibrant, food-friendly wines that capture the spirit of each vineyard.

RATIO WINES
Ratio is part of my quest for clarity. It is just one of the ways I hope to understand the reasons for each decision in the process of farming and taking the grape to bottle. In the meantime, the goal is classic, age worthy wines with vibrant acidity and singular expression. Ratio is not intended for growth. It is small and will continue to remain so. It is a conduit for my ongoing attempt to understand and hone the ability to express the place and make wines that are both individual and worthy of praise within the context of wines from anywhere in the world.

LIMITED ADDITION WINE
Limited Addition Wine showcases the Willamette Valley’s unique and ever-changing grape diversity, while allowing our winemaker, Bree Stock MW, to explore her dedication to low-intervention winemaking. Ltd.+ wines are personal handmade wines raised from collaborations with inspired farmers to develop a diverse and sustainable wine landscape in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. These wines are made from alternative varieties through thoughtful farming and winemaking practices.

PIKE ROAD
At Pike Road, we believe great winemaking starts with great farming. With over four decades of experience at Pike Road’s sister winery Elk Cove Vineyards, our family has a long history here in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. We are committed to preserving family farms through our longtime partnerships with growers from around the valley.

FLIPTURN
Flipturn Cellars celebrates the unexpected flips and turns in life. Owner Meg Rulli fell in love with wine while studying abroad in Barcelona, and later deepened that passion after moving to Oregon. In 2020, she boldly bought 1 ton of Syrah from Yakima Valley—despite no winemaking experience—and produced her first vintage through hands-on learning and mentorship. Today, Flipturn crafts small-batch, food-friendly wines with minimal intervention. When she’s not making wine, Meg runs Barrel Dork, an educational platform that inspires wine lovers through content, courses, and a weekly newsletter.

ELK COVE
One of the founding wineries of the Willamette Valley, family-owned and operated Elk Cove Vineyards was the first vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Adam Campbell is a second-generation owner/winemaker and fifth-generation Oregon farmer specializing in Pinot Noir and cool-climate white wines. Elk Cove sources fruit from their six 100% estate-grown, sustainably farmed vineyard sites located across the northern Willamette Valley. Elk Cove is host to the 2024 Rising Tide Wine Fest.
